For much of my shaping career, I have been known as being the go to guy in Australia for state of the art step-ups and guns for waves of consequence. This classic design is wider than a true gun, with slightly increased nose and tail area and a reduced overall rocker, giving the board a broader wave range than a typical gun. The Coral Reefer will see you right gliding in small surf, or charging full throttle as big as you dare. I apply all my proprietary bottom contours, flex theory and fin placement wisdom into these craft to ensure that when that wave comes, you can commit knowing that the board will come around the corner and find the line.
